The Merit Medical ACT1815 is a sterile, single-use adjustable coaxial biopsy device designed for precise and efficient percutaneous tissue sampling. This 18 gauge x 15 cm system features the Temno™ biopsy needle with an integrated coaxial introducer sleeve that allows multiple sample passes through a single access point — reducing procedural trauma and improving targeting accuracy under imaging guidance (ultrasound, CT, or fluoroscopy).

The adjustable depth stop enables customizable penetration control, enhancing safety and consistency during core tissue acquisition from soft tissues including breast, bone, liver, kidney, and lung. The spring-loaded, semi-automatic firing mechanism delivers fast, controlled needle deployment for clean core capture with minimal crushing artifact.

Constructed with radiopaque markers for clear visibility under imaging modalities. The ergonomic handle provides secure grip and optimal control during insertion and firing.
