Contraindications:

• Active ear infections with discharge

How to Use:

1. Select the appropriate size speculum and attach it to the otoscope head.
2. Turn on the light source.
3. Gently pull the pinna of the ear outward to straighten the ear canal.
4. Insert the otoscope speculum into the ear canal and slowly advance it until the tympanic membrane is visible.
5. Examine the ear canal and tympanic membrane for any abnormalities.
6. Remove the otoscope and discard the used speculum.

Cleaning:

• Wipe the otoscope head and specula with a damp cloth after each use.
• Disinfect the otoscope head and specula with a commercially available disinfectant according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Do not immerse the otoscope head in water.
