Ingredients:

Precautions:

Dosage: Refer to the Administration Guide for restoring fluids and minerals lost through diarrhea and vomiting. Pedialyte should be given frequently in amounts tolerated. Adjust total intake based on individual needs, thirst, and response to treatment. Suggested intake for maintenance is based on water requirements for normal energy expenditure. Ready to Use:

  • Best served cold.
  • Do not add water or dilute.

Usage:

  • For infants under 1 year: Consult your doctor.
  • For children 1 year and older and adults: Start with small, frequent sips every 15 minutes, gradually increasing the serving size as tolerated. Continue as long as diarrhea persists.
  • To maintain hydration, 1-2 liters (32 to 64 fl oz) of Pedialyte may be needed daily. Consult your doctor if vomiting, fever, or diarrhea lasts more than 24 hours, or if more than 2 liters (64 fl oz) is needed daily.

Storage & Handling:

  • 2 fl oz bottle: Do not use if the breakaway ring is missing or broken. Ready to use. Attach a clean, single-use nipple and ring. Use a sterile nipple if directed. Store at room temperature; avoid extreme temperatures. Discard after use.
  • 1-liter bottle: Do not use if the printed band around the cap or inner foil seal is missing or broken. Remove the protective band and twist off the cap. After opening, refrigerate and use within 48 hours. Store unopened bottles in a cool place; avoid excessive heat. Do not reuse the bottle.
