B Braun L6100 is a sterile intravenous solution containing 5% Dextrose and 0.45% Sodium Chloride in water (D5 1/2 NS), formulated to provide hydration, calories, and electrolyte balance in one ready-to-use solution. Designed for adult and pediatric patients requiring fluid replenishment with added energy support. The 5% dextrose provides a source of carbohydrates to help maintain blood glucose levels, while the 0.45% sodium chloride supports electrolyte balance without excessive sodium load.

Commonly used in the treatment of dehydration, as part of nutritional support regimens, and during recovery from surgery or illness. Packaged in a flexible, DEHP-free Plastikon® container that ensures compatibility with sensitive medications and reduces leachables. Closed-system design minimizes contamination risk and allows direct connection to standard IV administration sets — no venting required.
