The BD BBL™ CultureSwab™ Collection and Transport System is a sterile, ready-to-use device designed for the safe and effective collection, preservation, and transport of aerobic and anaerobic specimens. Ideal for use in throat, vaginal, skin, and wound sampling, this system ensures specimen integrity from point of collection to laboratory processing. Features a double soft rayon swab tip that provides excellent absorption and release of clinical specimens.

The plastic shaft is durable and flexible for reliable handling. Pre-moistened with Liquid Amies medium — a non-nutritive transport solution that maintains organism viability without supporting overgrowth during transit. Sealed with a double-action security cap that creates a watertight barrier, preventing leakage and drying out of the sample. Translucent barrel with red cap for easy identification. Sterile and individually packed. Each swab measures 5-1/4 inches in length. Packaged 50/BX.
