The CENTURION SV226UDT is a catheter securement dressing, specifically the Sorbaview SHIELD system, designed for secure and comfortable catheter fixation. This dressing measures 2.25 inches by 2.75 inches and is made from a fabric/film material. It features a built-in securement system, eliminating the need for secondary securement devices. The dressing includes a window design that provides a breathable barrier against external bacteria. The nonsensitizing adhesive ensures secure placement for extended wear, up to 7 days for central lines and 96 hours for peripheral catheters, or as clinically indicated. The micro size is tailored for small patients and small insertion sites. It is non-sterile.
