The Cook Medical G52544 CXI® Support Catheter is a high-performance, 4.0 French (Fr), 150 cm long catheter designed for use in small vessel and super-selective vascular access during diagnostic and interventional procedures — including peripheral, embolization, and endovascular applications. Features a straight tip configuration optimized for smooth navigation and reliable engagement in target vessels. Engineered to accept 0.035″ guidewires, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of standard and specialty wires. Constructed with a stainless steel braid for excellent torque control, pushability, and kink resistance, providing strong column support during device delivery. The distal 40 cm features a hydrophilic coating to reduce friction and enhance trackability through tortuous anatomy. Radiopaque tungsten marker bands near the tip allow for precise visualization under fluoroscopy, enabling accurate placement. Exterior depth markers along the shaft provide visual feedback on insertion depth relative to the introducer sheath. Designed with a seamless transition from the catheter tip to the wire lumen to minimize vessel trauma during advancement.
