Lligasure Small Jaw Instrument by US Surgical
The LigaSure small jaw instrument is the newest addition to the LigaSure family of advanced surgical vessel sealing and cutting devices. Used in open surgical procedures, this device is capable of sealing, cutting, blunt dissection and atraumatic grasping. The primary features of this LigaSure device are the small curved jaw, low-temperature profile and minimal thermal spread, making it suitable for confined surgical spaces.
The multifunctionality of the LigaSure small jaw minimizes the exchange of instruments compared to mechanical ligation. Working exclusively with the ForceTriad energy platform, the LigaSure small jaw instrument combines TissueFect sensing technology that can be used on vessels up to and including 7 mm, pulmonary vasculature, lymphatics and tissue bundles. The LigaSure tissue sealing system provides consistent, controlled tissue effect and may reduce operative time in open procedures including: General, Plastic/reconstructive, Thoracic and Urologic.
