The OrthoWedge™ features a wedge sole designed to effectively shift body weight to the midfoot and heel, reducing pressure on the forefoot. The square toe design acts as a bumper to protect the toes, especially when K-wires are present, and offers a better left/right fit. It has a removable forefoot closure for security without buckle pressure and a removable insole with extra padding that can be modified or removed to accommodate Darco’s Pegassist™ customizable off-loading insole. This large size typically fits male shoe sizes 10-1/2 to 12 and female shoe sizes 13+.
