DARCO OQ4B refers to the +SHOE ORTHOWEDGE in an extra-large (XL) size and black color. This unisex post-operative shoe is sold individually (1/EA), with 12 units per box (12/BX) and 36 units per case (36/CA). The OrthoWedge™ features a 15-degree wedge sole designed to effectively shift body weight to the midfoot and heel, reducing pressure on the forefoot. The square toe design acts as a bumper to protect the toes, especially when K-wires are present, and offers a better left/right fit. It has a removable forefoot closure for security without buckle pressure and a removable insole with extra padding that can be modified or removed to accommodate Darco’s Pegassist™ customizable off-loading insole. This shoe is indicated for post-operative care and conditions requiring off-loading of the forefoot.
