DARCO PTQM4: +INSOLE PEG-ASSIST MEN XL (Each)

DARCO PTQM4 refers to the +INSOLE PEG-ASSIST designed for men in an extra-large (XL) size. This is a Peg Assist™ insole made from EVA, Plastazote® foam, and Poron® materials, intended for male shoe sizes 12-1/2 to 14. It is sold individually (1/EA), with 12 units per box (12/BX) and 36 units per case (36/CA). The Darco Peg Assist™ insole is an inexpensive and effective product designed to off-load plantar pressures, particularly for use with Darco’s square-toe med-surg shoes. The peg system allows for selective removal of pegs to customize pressure relief for specific plantar lesions, ulcerations, or pressure points. This insole features a combination of Plastazote® and a supportive Multi-foam base with a Poron® cover for cushioning, aiming to reduce pressure, eliminate swelling, and prevent wound development while maintaining patient ambulation. A stabilizer board is included to maintain the insole’s integrity. Each insole comes with a removable toe cover and a single-use marking tube.
