DARCO PW4 PEGASSIST WALKER INSOLE XLARGE (Each)

DARCO PW4 refers to the PEGASSIST WALKER INSOLE in an extra-large (XLARGE) size. It is sold individually (1/EA), with 12 units per box (12/BX) and 3 boxes per case (3BX/CA). This insole is part of the DARCO PegAssist Insole System, featuring a multi-indication removable-peg chassis designed to effectively offload pressure on the plantar aspect of the foot after surgery or when wounds are present. The PegAssist can reduce pressure by up to 60%, allowing the patient to remain ambulatory. This specific PW Series insole is designed to fit DARCO’s FX Pro Walker and other standard walkers, quickly converting them into effective off-loading devices. It has a 15mm combination Plastazote® and Multi-Foam base with a 3mm Poron® cover to provide cushioning and prevent ring edema and edge abrasion. A stabilizer board with a low-profile molded hook strip is included to adhere to the walker liner and prevent shifting during ambulation. This extra-large size is typically for men’s shoe sizes 13.5 and up.
