Indications:

• Emergency airway management in small adults (30-60kg).
• Maintenance of airway patency during resuscitation and other procedures.
• Airway protection for patients with difficult airway anatomy.

Contraindications:

• Known or suspected esophageal perforation.
• Active gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Facial or airway trauma.

Instructions for Use:

1. Select the appropriate size of i-gel based on the patient’s age and weight.
2. Open the sterile package and remove the i-gel and other kit components.
3. Lubricate the i-gel with water-soluble lubricant.
4. Gently insert the i-gel into the patient’s mouth until the flange is flush with the lips.
5. Verify placement by ensuring the patient’s chest is rising and falling with each breath.
6. Secure the i-gel in place using the airway support strap.
7. Connect the i-gel to the appropriate breathing circuit or oxygen supply.
8. Monitor the patient’s vital signs and oxygen saturation.
9. Remove the i-gel when it is no longer needed.
