The Mölnlycke 727846 Biogel® PI Micro Indicator® is a sterile, synthetic surgical underglove designed to enhance tactile sensitivity and provide a reliable puncture indication system when used as part of a double-gloving technique. Made from polyisoprene, this latex-free glove offers the elasticity and comfort of latex without the allergy risk.

Measuring approximately 20% thinner than the standard Biogel® PI Indicator® underglove, the Micro Indicator® version delivers superior touch and dexterity — ideal for delicate procedures such as microsurgery, neurosurgery, and ophthalmology.

The bright blue color serves as a visual alert: if the outer glove is punctured during surgery, the blue underglove becomes visible, signaling potential contamination so immediate action can be taken. This feature supports improved surgical safety and infection control.

Powder-free with a smooth finish and standard cuff length. Individually paired and sealed in a high-quality inner wrap with a film pack (polyester and low-density polyethylene laminate) to maintain sterility and ease of donning.

“Chemo Tested” indicates the material has been evaluated for resistance to permeation by certain chemotherapy agents, making it suitable for use in oncology settings (consult compatibility charts for specific drug resistance).
