The Pall 557083 is a sterile, disposable syringe filter designed for high-efficiency filtration of sensitive biological samples. Featuring a 0.2 µm Supor® membrane (polyethersulfone), it delivers superior flow rates and low protein binding, making it ideal for critical applications where sample integrity and recovery are essential.

Measuring 25 mm in diameter, this filter is suitable for processing sample volumes up to approximately 100 mL. The hydrophilic polyethersulfone membrane ensures excellent chemical compatibility with aqueous solutions, buffers, culture media, and additives — commonly used for sterilization of small-volume liquids in laboratory, pharmaceutical, and research settings.

Each filter is pre-sterilized by gamma irradiation, eliminating the risk of ethylene oxide (EtO) residuals and ensuring aseptic use. The blue polypropylene housing includes a built-in support structure for durability and ease of handling.
