GUIDE50 Accu-Chek Guide test strips by Roche are designed for use with the Accu-Chek Guide blood glucose meter to measure blood sugar levels quickly and easily. A caregiver takes a blood sample usually by finger prick and then tests it to measure the glucose levels in that blood sample using a test strip in conjunction with a glucose meter.
Construction
GUIDE50 Accu-Chek Guide test strips contain a substrate, a reagent layer that contains enzymes and other chemicals, and electrodes for electrochemical analysis. Glucose levels in a blood sample can be checked accurately using these components of a test strip.

Applications
GUIDE50 Accu-Chek Guide test strips have the following applications:
- Blood Glucose Monitoring: GUIDE50 Accu-Chek Guide test strips are employed for holding the blood sample collected after pricking the test site using a lancet and a lancing device. This strip is then mounted on a compatible glucose meter to get the blood glucose readings.
Packaging
GUIDE50 Accu-Chek Guide test strips come in a spill-resistant pack. The product should be kept stored in the box until the time of use.

- Test strips should be stored at 39°F to 86°F.
