Teleflex A-6000-08LF is a reliable and advanced chest drainage unit, designed to provide consistent and safe drainage of air and fluids from the pleural cavity. As part of Teleflex’s Cactus Series with a dry suction / wet seal design, this device combines the advantages of stable suction regulation with visual monitoring via a wet‐seal chamber.

Each unit can collect up to 2,500 mL of fluid and supports an airflow capacity up to 16 L/min, making it suitable for both adult and pediatric clinical applications. The built-in automatic suction regulation ensures the clinician’s chosen suction level is maintained even if the suction source fluctuates or there is a leak in the patient circuit. This reduces the need for constant manual adjustments.

Safety is a priority: the unit includes both positive and negative pressure relief valves, offers tip-over protection, and integrates a manual filtered high-negativity relief valve. For operational efficiency and sterility, the system includes quick-disconnect tubing with a needleless sample port, and tubing interfaces compatible with ATS connectors.

Ergonomic design features include a write-on surface for patient documentation, built-in bedrail hangers, a swivel floor stand, and a carrying handle to facilitate mobility in a clinical environment.
